How we might work together
Not everyone needs the same thing. These are the approaches I draw on, sometimes one on its own, more often a mix, depending on what you bring and on what is working.
Which approach fits which situation
| Approach | Commonly used for | Usual shape |
|---|---|---|
| Single Session Therapy | A specific decision or sticking point, or wanting to try therapy before committing to more. | One focused session of up to 60 minutes, with a free 15-minute call first if you want to check the fit. |
| Solution-Focused Brief Therapy | Anxiety, low mood, confidence, and times of feeling stuck. | Future-focused and practical. Brief by design. |
| Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) | Anxiety and panic, low mood and burnout, obsessive-compulsive patterns. | Structured, with things to try between sessions. |
| EMDR Therapy | Distressing memories and trauma. | A structured protocol. Length depends on what is being worked on. |
| Brief Strategic Therapy | Repeating patterns that have not shifted with other approaches. | Focused interventions aimed at breaking a stuck cycle. |
| Person-Centred Therapy | Wanting space to think and be heard without being directed. | Led by you, at your pace, without a fixed agenda. |
